South Korean Driver’s Licensing Reciprocity
Applicants with a valid unexpired South Korea license may transfer their license to Kansas without needing to complete a written or driving exam.
Required Documents
- Valid South Korea driver’s license.
- 2 pieces of mail in applicant’s name showing Kansas residential address.
- Social security card (Not needed for those who are in the US on a non-work authorized visa).
- Proof of lawful presence.
Examples:- Employment authorization card.
- Permanent resident card.
- I-94 accompanied by valid passport.
- I-20 accompanied by valid passport.
- DS-2019 accompanied by valid passport.
- Legal name change document, if name on lawful presence document is different than current name.
- Corrective lenses, if needed. A vision exam will be required while at the driver’s license office.
