Current Update to Electronic Submission
YOUR SUBMISSIONS WILL NO LONGER WORK IF YOU HAVE NOT UPDATED YOUR SYSTEMS.
The updated Court Transmission Client and instructions for the new WebService are now available below as well as on the Downloads page.
If you have not updated yet please review this entire page to ensure you have all the information needed to proceed.
The layouts for Major, Minor and Suspension/Reinstatement electronic submissions have been updated to better comply with new AAMVA requirements.
This update is changing the singular Name field for each submission type to be split into five separate fields: Last Name, First Name, Middle Name 1, Middle Name 2 and Suffix.
In addition to this, the Driver’s License Field will be updated to allow 25 characters rather than 9 to allow for the full input of out of state Driver’s License Numbers.
This update requires all courts to update their systems to allow for these layout changes. These changes went into effect on 04/14/2025; anyone currently attempting to submit using the older version of the Court Transmission Client and webservice address, older versions of the CSV files or the older format on .txt files will not be able to submit anything to the State through the electronic submission process and would only have the option to send cases by paper (fax, mail, e-mail) until the updates have been made.
What you will need to do if you submit with CSV files:

- Process For Testing
Once you are ready to start testing you will need to contact us to ensure you are setup in “Test” and not “Production”. Please reach out to Asia Puck (asia.puck@ks.gov) to coordinate with us.- The process will be as follows:
- You will run an upload for each submission type.
- You will verify your upload was successful on your end.
- You will have an Upload txt file in your main directory stating that the upload was successful for each upload type. If you do not have this txt file or the txt file states there were errors, your upload was not successful and you will need to correct either your settings or your submission file and then try again.
- Once you have verified your upload was successful you will need to notify Asia Puck to complete the testing process on our end.
- If everything is successful on our end, you will be notified to pull your downloads once they are ready.
- If something is not successful, you will be notified of what corrections need to be made (if any), and when to try uploading a test file again if needed.
Once testing has been completed, you will be moved to production and can submit as you normally do.
- The process will be as follows:
